I don't really buy advent calendars because the chocolates taste funny and if you want a good one with lego or something like a mini ornament inside then they'll be around $40! I used to get the cheap ones all the time. I never really saw a decent cheap advent calendar. Although I did see this santa advent calendar at IKEA that was a big fat santa and it is so cute! I bet it has Dames or some yummy IKEA chocolates. It's $10 I think... My memory is not so good. Anyways, I am going to show you how to make a homemade advent calendar! I am going to make a moustache one but you can decorate yours anyway you like! It is soooo cheap!
What you need:
Glue
Tape
paper
Markers, crayons, pencil crayons, etc.
Pencil
Eraser
2 papers
1. First, draw and cut out 3 sides of each square. Then, repeat the step until you make 25 squares on the paper. There should be 5 rows of 5 squares.
2. Number each square and decorate it. Outline if you want. (Sorry if you think it is messy. I rushed through it!)
3. Draw a little picture on the flaps of each square (optional).
4. Glue the edges of the paper with squares, onto another paper. Do not glue on the squares or the flaps!
5. Add a little treat and tape the flaps shut.
6. Hang the calendar up and take a chocolate everyday.
